Lisa Syriac Memoriam

It is with great sadness the family of Lisa Renee Syriac, 48, of Clayton, NC announce her passing on March 31, 2020 from a sudden aneurysm.

Lisa was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 6, 1971 to John and Linda Hayman.  Lisa resided in Clayton NC and is survived by her husband, Jason Syriac; her two sons, Tyler and Ryan McClymonds; her parents, John and Linda Hayman; her sister Kathleen Stanley and brother-in-law, Keith Stanley; her nephews, Brett Gower and Brian Stanley; niece, Kayla Lauren Stanley; father of the children, Mitch McClymonds.

Lisa graduated from Orange High School in Hillsborough, NC and attended Johnston Community College.  Her career at Caterpillar’s Clayton, NC facility began 28 years ago with a brief leave to take care of her youngest son, Ryan, during illness.  In Lisa’s current role as a Marketing Events Coordinator for the Customer & Training Center, her contagious smile, warm personality and loving heart touched visitors and customers around the world.  She will be deeply missed by her Caterpillar family far and near.

Lisa enjoyed traveling and seeing the world.  Most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her two sons, husband, family and their entourage of service and therapy dogs for their nonprofit, plus a cuddly “dog-tolerant” cat.  She was always eager and ready for any adventure that included hiking, mountain climbing, riding horses, roller coasters, off-roading with her truck & jeep, riding Harley’s and riding jet skis with her family.  She recently fell in love with photography as seen in her current Sgt. Rosco. Instagram posts.

There will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony for friends and family, to be announced at a later date.  Please email sgtroscok9@gmail.com for further information.  We ask all who are willing, instead of sending flowers, please consider donating to Lisa and Jason’s non-profit charity Sgt. Rosco.

Every donation provides direct support for her mission and her family.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s support, understanding, kind words, and gestures.  Comments are welcomed below. Thank you.
